Dear Mr. Stewart
Last June I enrolled in the home study program. I did the lessons and practiced
the speed-reading
techniques as instructed in the study guide. In August I accepted a new position requiring my transfer to Las Vegas which occurred the following September.
At that time I had only completed 3 chapters in the study guide. I did however notice an increase in my reading speed and
comprehension. Upon arriving at my new position I found that I was required to complete two professional exams. The
respective programs required the reading of two exam study guides. The first curriculum required the reading of an 899 page review
manual, including review questions, and 1000 practice test questions. I was able to complete the reading, review questions and all of the
practice test questions in less than two and a half weeks. I passed the exam with an 82%.
The study guide for the second exam was 400 pages and had slightly less than 500 practice questions. I
completed this curriculum in less than 5 days and passed the exam with an 84%.
The home study program requires additional discipline than does your classroom sessions. Day to day life
makes it difficult to maintain that discipline. Even though I only partially completed the course prior to taking
my exams I credit the technique and practice that I have gained in the home study course for my ability to pass them in a time effective manner.
I look forward to gaining even more speed as I complete the home study program and I hope that one day you will have a classroom session in Las
Vegas.
Cordially,
John D. Jemison
